Can pets at home spread the new coronavirus (COVID-19)?

This is something a lot of people want the answer to and it is best to stop misinformation while you can! Rumors have been going around that dogs can spread the virus and thus leading to many becoming abandoned in the face of fear. Below is the answer to everyone's question which I hope brings you all peace of mind.

According to the CDC & WHO (World health organization) "At present, there is no evidence that companion animals/ pets such as dogs & cats can be infected by the new coronavirus.

However, it is a good idea to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with your pets. This protects you against common bacteria such as E. Coli & Salmonella that can pass between humans & pets."
